On the 12th of February, our 10-year olds visited the Mill – Arts, culture and crafts centre to participate in a workshop entitled Carnival. The project organized by the Gabriel Caruana Foundation in collaboration with PAF (Project Aegle Foundation) in an effort to educate children on pedestrian rights and activism through the art of papier-mache. Children were introduced to the work of Maltese artist Gabriel Caruana, with a focus on his participation in the Carnival. During the workshop, the student had the opportunity to draw ideas for their masks and carnival floats.
