INTRODUCTION TO ART COURSES
The school offers a wide variety of courses, both formal and informal, designed to reach out a cross section of different learners with different talents and capabilities. The school presents a two-fold strategy: open classes for lifelong learners, and specialised courses designed for learners interested in taking art as their main subject of research.
The school accepts the enrollment of student age 6 and over. Age restrictions are in place for certain courses, particularly those leading to O level and A level qualifications. All leisure courses are open for students 16+.
Students attending the Visual and Performing Arts Schools must be strongly committed and regular attendance is important to ensure that they fully benefit from the programmes offered. To achieve an Award or Qualification, students need to attend 80% of the lessons and complete all units within the Award/Qualification. Learners who do not attend 80 percent of the course will not be awarded a certificate and their work will not be assessed. An absence of three consecutive lessons without notification will result in the discontinuation of the course.
