Visit – Celia Borg Cardona’s Retrospective

A selective group of Students from the Malta School of Art, attending the morning classes in Drawing and Painting, visited the retrospective exhibition of ex SOA student Celia Borg Cardona. The exhibition was held at the Gran Salon of the National Museum of Archaeology, and was open to the general public along February and March. The Exhibition featuring 29 works of art, spanning from 2002 to the present day. Students had the chance to explore the how the artist’s bold, vigorous and expressive brushworks and particular viewpoint and use of perspective, create a specific and intense mood in her paintings.
