XENI – Art in Centre Stage

On the 19th of February, the Malta School of Art, in collaboration with Spazju Kreattiv and TeatruMalta, organized a workshop for SOA students ages 7 to 12, as part of the exhibition: XENI – A Retrospective of the Last Decade of Scenography. Curated by Italian set designer Romualdo Moretti, the exhibition produced by Teatru Malta in collaboration with Spazju Kreattiv, provided visitors with a rare backstage pass into the past decade of local scenography. In the workshops, different groups created projects related to the world of theatre, from costumes made out if newspaper, to masks, hand-puppets and small-scale diorama boxes.
